The full title of this course was 'ICT, digital learning resources and virtual learning environments development and use: experience and innovations in Europe and worldwide', and it was aimed at a wide range of educators and policy makers in Lithuania. I presented on the British experience of ICT in learning.

I ran a workshop on creating text track and interactive movies using QuickTime. I also heard from Caroline Rye on her Phd which studied the challenges of recording live events on DVD in order to best capture proceedings. I recorded a video of a short piece of her presentation which took her advice to record from up to four angles at once.

Abraham completed successfully in 2001 - his title was 'Use of programmable logic controller and human-machine interface software to improve homework achievements'. I acted as his director of studies, but also benefited from the advice offered by colleagues in the School of Education.

PhD supervisor for Nili Naveh

Nili successfully completed her PhD in 2005 - her title was 'Developing Algorithmic Thinking in Middle School Pupils in Israel'. This supervision was a pleasure, since in my own past I had taught programming to school pupils and adults. I acted as her director of studies, but also benefited from advice from colleagues in the School of Education, especially Dr. Gill Robinson.
