PhD Viva
This took place in the University of Bolton at 13:30 and lasted about two hours. It resulted in a pass subject to non major changes.

The viva was interesting as it re-focussed my dissertation on the theoretical work rather than the practice, but using the practice to support the theoretical position. Although delighted to be supported in this way - I had always felt the theoretical material to be too speculative - it did contrast with my belief that I was asking for the examiners to offer their judgment on my practice, and that the theoretical work was there to bring coherence and analysis to it.

The outcome was surprisingly affirming.
