COGS Passport
A project with Unity City Academy in Middlesborough and Edunova to develop a tool for primary-age children to self-evaluate their learning skills in preparation for transition to secondary. The outcomes would be available to new teachers to better know their new students and to managers to more clearly see what curriculum was required based on needs.

Mobile Games Based Learning
mGBL was a 3-year pan-European project that began in October 2005 and was supported by the European Commission (EC) Information Society Technologies (IST) programme within the Sixth Framework [5]. It set out to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of learning in young adults aged 16 - 24 through the development of innovative learning models based on mobile games. Ten partner organizations formed the consortium, from EC countries as diverse as Austria, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia and the UK.

I am helping at both University of Bolton and Brunel University with this 2 million euro EU Support Action focussing on dynamic roadmapping to support take-up of innovation in Technology Enhanced Learning.

HoTEL - Holistic Approach to Technology Enhanced Learning
I am helping at Brunel University with this 1 million euros EU Support Action, focussing on adult learners and the design, testing and validation of a new innovation working method for TEL. My part so far has related to the development of a concept map and summarised explanation of learning theories.

Ultraversity Graduation
I organised interviews, filmed by Andrew Wood and Robin Cusick with Alison Gee asking the questions, of students graduating from Ultraversity. I then transcoded them to QuickTime, transcribed the dialogue (helped by Greta Mladenova) and added text tracks and chapters.

Belfast summer school
I led this digital creativity project with Ultralab colleagues and youth workers in Belfast. We invited young people from three community groups of mixed background to enjoy three days of film-making following our established summer school methodology. The three community groups' youth workers knew each other, but the young people had not worked together before.
